A misunderstanding occurs when words don’t correspond with the desired meaning, when voice becomes an inadequate tool to express feelings, when we have in mind an image of ourselves different from the one that others have of us. This series represents the communicational discomfort due to the verbal language’s boundaries. Art can overcome those boundaries, it’s an expressive device that allows the dialogue between the artist and the spectator, no matter the differences, the nationality, the political orientation, the character. All of us are able to “read” an image in our own way, and everybody can find a visual way to communicate a message. Sensitivity doesn’t need words.
